We have been awarded three Onshore Marginal Fields by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited ("ONGC"), for a period of 17 years starting from FY '07, as a part of its "Marginal Field Monetization Program".
These fields, which form a part of the Jaisalmer-Mari High basin and spread over an area of 100 sq. km (approximately) and have a cumulative Natural Gas reserve of 1.4 Billion Cubic Meter (BCM).

The three Onshore Marginal Fields were awarded to DIL by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited ("ONGC"), starting from April 2007, as a part of its "Marginal Field Monetization Program". The Fields are part of the Jaisalmer-Mari High basin containing 1. 42 BCM of gas reserves, spread across 100 Km2 and are located in the state of Rajasthan approximately 100 kms north of Jaisalmer, close to the International border with Pakistan.
The three gas fields are:
DIL has serviced the gas wells and created surface facilities including laying of a 16 km long pipeline connecting wells from Ghotaru and Bankia and creating of a Gas collecting station at Bankia. The GCS was completed in 2012 having facilities for separation, purification and compression of natural gas. DIL has installed first of its kind Natural gas purification and drying unit for gas processing at the GCS. The process and compressed gas is planned to be supplied to customers in and around Jaisalmer region.
